'As a leader - or an advocate - public speaking is the key to unlocking empathy, stirring excitement, sharing knowledge and insights, and promoting a shared dream'.
(Chris Anderson, TED founder)

Valerie Gabail is the founder and director of the Professional Voice Trainer. She is a bilingual Voice, Accent and Presentation Skills expert based in London. She draws on her twenty-five-year performance career in the Classical Music industry as an international soloist, to provide Voice, Accent and Presentation Skills coaching to singers, actors, business professionals and politicians.

Her lifelong interest in voice and acting led her to gain a Master of Fine Arts in Voice Studies at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, from which she graduated with Distinction. Valerie has also been nominated 'Lyric Revelation of the Year' 2006 at the Victoires de la Musique Classique and is a laureate of the Royaumont Foundation.

Her pedagogy draws upon a wide range of voice, movement and acting approaches, to provide both aspiring and professional performers with the tools to make creative and healthy vocal choices, as well as help business and corporate clients to develop their spoken style and become confident and inspiring speakers. The techniques she uses have been developed from a wealth of resources, including her experience as an Opera performer, her training in Voice and Speech Pedagogy, her work as a Political Speech tutor at the London College of Music as well as a Language Coach on various Opera productions.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Carla Burdett,

Soprano

Valerie is by far one of the best teachers I have encountered. She applies her years of training to her teaching, especially when improving the technique with utmost precision.  It is through her teaching that I feel prepared to tackle any piece of music and believe her teaching is essential in making me a more qualified and talented singer. Thank you Valerie!

Catherine Berjal,

Valerie enabled me to get to the core of English language, focusing in detail on voice, breath and pronunciation. Training with her enabled me to remove physical and emotional blocks and improve rapidly, in a relaxed and playful atmosphere.

Maëlys Robinne, Professional Soprano

Valérie is an amazing vocal coach as well as an incredible human being. She works hard and makes you work hard, always  empowering you.

I learnt a lot thanks to her expertise and skills. My voice greatly improved and she taught me how to get deeper into the flesh of the characters I needed to perform.

She was, and still is, a wonderful support, and I have no words to thank her for this. So, don't let yourself hesitate, go for it!

Laurence David-Valadier,

CEO of One Menu

I have been preparing an important sales presentation with Valerie, and I was crippled with fears of speaking in front of a large audience. Through simple and powerful strategies, Valerie managed to shift my negative beliefs into a clear understanding of what public speaking is all about: an authentic, truthful connection to the audience and an ability to share my knowledge with them. Thanks to Valerie, I have gained a totally new approach to my future presentations. and I can’t recommend her enough!
