1. MASTERING POWERFUL TALKS AND PRESENTATIONS

Delivering powerful talks and presentations is essentially about knowing your audience, establishing a clear intention throughout, displaying an effective use of non-verbal communication and finally, going through careful preparation to gain ease and confidence on the performance day. This interactive workshop will help you with practical tips and strategies to engage your audience and share your ideas powerfully. What you will learn in this workshop:

 

  • Work on researching your audience to create the most relevant content for them.

  • Define a clear objective throughout your presentation to persuade and influence your audience.

  • Create impactful slides and use storytelling strategies for engaging your listeners.

Whether you use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, Google Meet or any other video conference platform, this masterclass will provide you with practical tips and techniques to make a great impression online and enhance your virtual communication skills.

3. VOICE AND POWER FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS

 

This workshop is intended for all women who wish to explore their communication habits in the workplace and develop their ability to speak up and be heard in all professional settings. The workshop aims to provide the participants with a set of practical and useful tools to overcome habitual ways of using their voice and find a communication style that conveys confidence, presence and authentic power. Contrary to certain beliefs, these qualities of communication are not predetermined and can be acquired through self-awareness and careful practising, hence becoming available to anyone wishing to develop a communication style based on self-confidence, natural authority and authentic connection. What you will learn in this workshop:

 

  • To work on your voice, breath and posture to perfect your bodily impact. These are essential elements for a communication style that expresses authenticity, natural authority and the ability to connect with an audience.

  • To gain strategies to embody and boost your self-confidence, the trust others have in your being able to communicate your ideas.

  • To gain strategies to create a fertile ground during meetings, resist boors and bullies in the workplace, manage interruptions and be heard in all professional settings.

 

4. WHY AND HOW TO PERFECT YOUR BRITISH ACCENT

 

Speaking English as a second language and remaining clear and confident in all situations can be a challenging task. You might feel frustrated at times when your colleagues or friends don’t understand your pronunciation. You might feel a lack of confidence in professional situations to fully express your ideas. Or perceive that people make occasional judgements on your competence due to your accent patterns, and that this might lead you to missing opportunities. This course, designed primarily for people who speak English as a second language, will be made of three 90min live interactive group Zoom sessions. Packed with downloadable practice texts and exercises, it aims to provide straightforward strategies that shed light on the rules of English pronunciation, capture and practice its unique musicality and rhythm and implement these new skills in your social and professional communication.

6. HOW TO ACE YOUR INTERVIEWS

 

Interviews can be stressful and difficult experiences. You may feel that your nerves hold you back or that you struggle with clarity and poise when asked a tricky question, especially in English as a non-native speaker. However, a great performance on the day is completely achievable as long as you invest in careful preparation. This Interactive workshop is designed to help you pinpoint any aspects you find challenging and then using strategies and techniques to overcome them and feel confident and calm when going into the interview process. Communication skills are crucial in order to clearly and confidently get across what you have to say. We will work on strategies and techniques, both verbal and non-verbal, that will help you show your best self in the interview. Finally, nerves are one of the key things that can hamper an interview. Therefore, this workshop aims to provide you with tools and strategies (e.g. breathing, visualisation and relaxation techniques) that can be used in the run-up and during the interview so that you remain calm and collected throughout the whole process.

 

 

7. ACING YOUR 60-SECOND ELEVATOR PITCH

 

The ability to deliver an effective elevator pitch can make all the difference and help you attract instant engagement, whether you’re a start-up entrepreneur, fundraiser, charity advocate or anyone in need to pitch your ideas and projects. However, pitching in front of an audience is a subject that causes most of us a great deal of anxiety. When we’re asked to stand up and introduce what we do, we can often suffer a great deal of fear and dread, and it doesn’t always come out as we had hoped. This workshop will provide you with straightforward strategies to:

 

  • Structure your pitch in the most compelling way

  • Get a clearer sense of your vocal presence and how to use it at your best advantage

  • Overcome your fears of standing up and speaking in front of an audience

  • Last but not least, project confidence and charisma to leave a lasting impression on your      audience and create instant engagement.
